Criteria for Mentoring

• A willingness and desire to serve teens
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must be able to commit to at least 1 year of continuous mentoring service
• Must complete a mentor training program
• Must clear a Georgia criminal background investigation
• Must complete application package and orientation

Frequently Asked Questions

• Individuals, Companies, Fraternities, Civic Groups, Faith Organizations, Trade and Professional Associations may mentor as a group or members can mentor individually
• You may mentor whenever it is convenient for you!
• You may also volunteer or provide in kind services/donations (Please see Volunteer Page and SPARKS page)

How do I get started?

• Application
• Criminal Background Investigation and Life Scan
• Interview
• Must complete 7 hours of initial mentor orientation training program (in 3 sessions either one day or two days) and monthly mentor training refreshers
• DMV Motor Vehicle Investigation
